About Gladwood
Hartman Value Profile Assessments for you and your team.
Making the investment (commitment) to better understand yourself, your world, your colleagues or your organization and its culture, can enhance your life experiences, personal growth, productivity and more positive interpersonal outcomes for a better world.
A change can come one person at a time.
One assessment at a time.
Our Mission
Our goal is to offer society an introspective review (analysis) charting individual’s perception of the world, themselves and those around them.
What We Do
Our process uses the world-renowned Hartman Profile, created in 1967, and nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1973. The 36 statement assessment measures critical thinking and problem-solving skills tied to personal growth.
Our Why
In a post pandemic world, during a time of social and cultural shifts, the Gladwood assessment offers the ability to monitor and evaluate: How you think, What you think, Why you think. Through this lens, you begin the pathway towards sustainable, personal growth and ultimate performance.
How We Do It
It only takes 15 minutes to open your eyes and better understand how you perceive your world, yourself and those around you. Results are measured and tracked amidst 30 indicators giving you a better understanding, awareness and insight into your thinking and perceptions you may or may not be aware of.

Her work—which spans more than two decades and has impacted thousands of people— includes owning and building retail and property management businesses, leadership consulting for corporate and non-profits, and extensive work in the public service arena.
She was first introduced to the Hartman Value Profile in 2009 and began consulting through The Athena Quotient for corporations, government bodies and non-profits such as FreshStart Visions, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, and The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Dave S. Wood
Founding Partner Gladwood, LLC
Dave is the backbone of Gladwood. His people-oriented leadership and expertise in strategic business development creates both the company infrastructure and a dynamic coaching experience for teams, companies, and high-performing individuals. Through Gladwood and the Hartman Value Profile, his vision is to provide a model of training that develops organizations and leaders and then equips them for the ongoing process of transforming their own teams.
Following his 20-career in the USMC, Dave transferred his leadership and IT experience into the private sector. He spent the next 25 years in Sr. VP, Business Development and Sales Roles in technology in both the commercial and federal government sectors. Dave served on the boards of multiple organizations and spent a decade and a half as founder, owner, and winemaker for a 120-acre winery.
His leadership experience in military and business packs a punch on a resume. However, Dave summarizes his career of four-and-a-half decades simply as a vehicle for connecting, helping, and impacting as many people as possible. He is known for his dedication and commitment to serving people well. He believes the incredible value of leveraging the Hartman Value Profile to facilitate growth professionally and personally.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Computer Science from University of Florida, and his Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.
Dave is married to Renee. Together, they are—in Dave’s words—”in the foxhole” with the leaders, organizations, and individuals they support and work alongside.
Dave is passionate about his family and especially his three granddaughters. And, his stories are legendary among the people who know him.
Christina Heauser, PHR
HVP Consultant Gladwood, LLC
Christina Heauser is a seasoned HR professional with over a decade of experience in recruitment, retention, and cultivating exceptional workplace cultures. Her expertise lies in unlocking individuals’ strengths and fostering meaningful connections to help them overcome roadblocks and achieve their fullest potential. Passionate about the “human” in Human Resources, Christina thrives in dynamic environments where her contributions can drive growth, fulfillment, and team success.
Throughout her career, Christina has served in key roles, including HR Manager, Generalist, Recruitment Specialist, and Office Manager. These experiences have shaped her into a purpose-driven leader dedicated to creating workplaces where individuals and teams flourish. She believes that by aligning people’s unique strengths with the right roles, organizations can achieve balance, effectiveness, and harmony.
Christina’s journey with the Hartman Value Profile began in 2023 while collaborating on a mutual project. She was immediately drawn to the assessment’s transformative power—helping individuals uncover profound self-awareness and equipping teams with the clarity needed to thrive collectively. Inspired by its potential, Christina has since integrated the HVP into her work, using it as a cornerstone for leadership development, hiring for culture fit, and team optimization.
At her core, Christina is someone who truly cares. Her mission is to plant seeds of positivity and empower others through every interaction. She values empathy, perseverance, and the belief that life’s challenges often have more than one “right” solution.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Christina is a devoted wife and proud mother of two wonderful children, residing in Salem, Virginia. She finds fulfillment in balancing her personal and professional lives, continuously striving to make a positive impact in every role she undertakes.
Sometimes, the space between where/who I am and where/who I want to be seems like a gaping canyon. My experience taking the HVP and having a session with you created a bridge from who I am now to who I want to become. It didn’t remove the work of crossing the bridge, but it did remove an overwhelming sense of stuck.
…freedom from circles and cycles that I’ve walked around and around, feeling defeated by my weaknesses. Also, the freedom to make different choices (sans all the dramatic deliberation), based on a clearer compass of where I’m going, who I am, what I have to offer, and where I must become stronger and more disciplined.

Development
Success lies in the people, and cultivating a culture where growth is a win-win. Our goal is to move people, teams, and organizations toward the Intrinsic Inspirational Leadership Style.
Usually, the Inspirational Leader is highly verbal and capable of delivering messages and mandates in a commanding manner. To respond to the leader’s commands is to respond to the leader on a personal level.

Certification is a two-day class that goes over everything you need to know in order to implement the assessment successfully.
Gladwood has a model and systematic approach for unpacking leadership qualities and organizational insights. Our corporate management team had the opportunity engage their services and we found their strategic assessments, based on captured data, decisively provided insights soaring well beyond any tool and or assessment company we had worked with previously.
Renee and her team enabled us to unpack much needed awareness around community problem solving, work life balance and the critical need to deliberate more frequently in support of our current and future business end state. I highly recommend Gladwood to any organization seeking actionable intelligence for improving collaboration, planning and corporate unification.
